Growing up in London, in the swinging sixties, Marcus has been in love with jazz, blues and soul music ever since. He took up the trumpet as well as vocals as a boy and trained classically. After completing his degree at London University Goldsmith's, he lived in Japan before settling with his wife and their three children in Hampshire.
Here, he spent ten years as lead singer and trumpeter for popular party band 'Redzone', where he honed his live performance skills and became an expert in interacting with audiences of all ages and gauging the best songs to fill the dance floor.
